THE NATURE OF THE TRANSACTION.
A foreigner by name Mr. Brian Jones (Snr) who is a
Crude Oil Merchant/General Contractor with The Federal
Republic of Nigeria, until his death some months ago in EAS
Airline Airbus (A310300) Flight KQ430, does his financial
and banking transactions with us at the ECOBANK Nigeria
PLC, Lagos and had a closing balance as at end of January
2002, which is worth US$27,000.00 (Twenty Seven Million
United States Dollars). Our Bank now expected his Next of
Kin to come forward as a Sole Beneficiary to his
assets with the bank, meanwhile valuable efforts have being
made by the ECOBANK Nigeria Plc for more than one year now
to get in touch with any of the Brain Jonesīs Family or
Relatives without any success.
It is because of the perceived impossibility of being able
to locate any of late Mr. Brian Jones (Snr)īs Next of Kin
(He had no wife or Children that is known to us). Based on
this, the Management of our bank under the influence of our
Chairman and other Members of the Board of Directors are
secretly planning to seize the funds and declare the funds
as "unclaimed" and subsequently divert it for their
personal use. In order to avert this negative development,
I and two of my trusted colleagues in the bank, now seek
your permission to have you stand as the Next of Kin to
Late Mr. Brian Jones (Snr.) so that the fund (US$27
Million) will be released and paid into your Account as the
beneficiaryīs next of kin.
All documents and proofs to enable you get to his funds
will be carefully secured.
We have already secured from the probate, an Order of
Madamus Instruction to locate where any of Mr. Brian
Jonesīs Next of Kin is, for him or her to come and claim
fund. We are assuring you that this business is 100% Risk
Free.
Your 20% share of the fund stays,5% for expenses, while the
remaining 70 % will be for myself and my colleagues, which
we would use for Business Investment such as buying of
properties in your country according to agreement with my
partners. As soon as we receive an acknowledgement of your
acceptance to help us in this our mutual business proposal,
we would furnish you with the necessary modalities for a
successful conclusion of the transaction.
