[ROOT] Problem running h2root using cern AFS version

Hi,

I am a Summer Student at CERN. I use the ROOT 03.05.05 version for RH73 
gcc296 on LXPLUS. I run root from CERN's AFS.
I tried converting an hbook file to root using the h2root command, however 
I got the following error:

[lxplus001] ~ % $ROOTSYS/bin/h2root div
/afs/cern.ch/sw/root/v3.05.05/rh73_gcc296/root/bin/h2root: error while 
loading shared libraries: libCore.so: cannot open shared object file: No 
such file or directory

This occurs even though I have set the library environment path to 
$ROOTSYS/lib.

Are there any other steps required to run h2root?
