Hi Rooters,

I am still trying to compile ROOT on SGI with the
64 bits option (IRIX64 6.5, root 3.05.07) .

I am wondering about the necessity to add
-DG__64BIT to the makefile variables
CINTCXXFLAGS and CINTCFLAGS. I am not sure
who is affected by the G__* macros, and in
the existing 64 bits makefiles, sometimes
G__64BIT is defined, sometimes not.

Also worth to be mentionned, it seems that the
shell instructions which are used so to detect
the existence of some executable does not work
on IRIX 6.5. For example for the detection of
gtar in freetype/Module.mk. I guess that "which"
does not have the expected behavior.

David.
