Hello Thomas, Did I understand properly you are using PAW under Windows? That should have meant there is no "multi-thread" thread :-) here because the Windows version of PAW (more precisely the HIGZ package, ix_higz.dll) uses EXACTLY the same multi-thread schema inherited by ROOT (not only the schema, the code was adopted as well).
