Out of pure curiosity I tried the line

>   TF3 *fun3 = new TF3("fun3","x*x+y*y+z*z-3",-2,2,-2,2,-2,2)

Error in <TF1::TF1>: function: fun3/x*x+y*y+z*z-3 has 3 parameters 
instead of 1
