Hi Pere, just few more comments: - there are two types of applications on windows - GUI and console ones. ROOT win32gdk GUI application require starting extra threads (no much overhead though). Your appplication is "pure console" (batch) one. To have "the fastest responce" from yours test.exe, i.e. suppress starting extra threads use "-b" (batch) command option: ./test.exe -b Regards.
