questionHello Oikonomou,

I digged around my old machines. Unfortunately, I couldn't find
5.14.xx archive. I only have 5.15.40 and later.

Can anybody in the mailing list help him finding 5.14.37 or closer
version? If I get the source, I can help him easily.

Thank you
Masa Goto

  Hello again,

I really need a binary for Windows 2000/XP (or Solaris) for CINT version
5.14.37 (or >, but not 5.15.XX).
I searched google but I couldn't find any older versions of CINT.
I would appreciate if you could send me any 5.14.XX build, especially
5.14.37 or 5.14.XX, XX>=37.

  Thank you.

    Hello Giannis,

I believe std::string is supported long time before 5.14.37.
(Please let me know if this is wrong. )

One important detail is definition of "interpreting string".
There are 2 possibilities for Cint,
      1. whole string class is interpreted
      2. string class is precompiled as <string.dll> and cint actually
uses it in an interpreted user application.
    Latter is my recommendation.

    Thank you

              Hello,

Just a simple question: From which version of CINT and on, can
C++ string class be interpreted ?
Can it be interpreted in version 5.14.37 ?

              Thank you.
