Hi, In roottalk an inflation of multiple emails started at about 5pm GMT Friday Dec. 5, 2003. The same is seen in the BaBar Hypernews (email system). It looks like there is a problem at Uni Rostock, which returns mails to the list. Here a part of an email-header: Received: from pcroot.cern.ch (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by pcroot.cern.ch (8.12.8/8.12.8) with ESMTP id hB5NJorH023011 for <roottalk-outgoing@pcroot.cern.ch>; Sat, 6 Dec 2003 00:19:50 +0100 Received: (from majordomo@localhost) by pcroot.cern.ch (8.12.8/8.12.8/Submit) id hB5NJor8023008 for roottalk-outgoing; Sat, 6 Dec 2003 00:19:50 +0100 X-Authentication-Warning: pcroot.cern.ch: majordomo set sender to owner-roottalk@root.cern.ch using -f Received: from smtp4.cern.ch (smtp4.cern.ch [137.138.131.165]) by pcroot.cern.ch (8.12.8/8.12.8) with ESMTP id hB5NJkrH022968 for <roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch>; Sat, 6 Dec 2003 00:19:46 +0100 Received: from antivirus.uni-rostock.de (antivirus.uni-rostock.de [139.30.8.12]) by smtp4.cern.ch (8.12.1-20030924/8.12.1) with ESMTP id hB5NJi8p013739 for <roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch>; Sat, 6 Dec 2003 00:19:45 +0100 (MET) Received: from antivirus ([139.30.8.12]) by antivirus.uni-rostock.de with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.0); Sat, 6 Dec 2003 00:01:39 +0100 Received: from pcroot.cern.ch ([137.138.170.254]) by antivirus.uni-rostock.de over TLS secured channel with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.0); Fri, 5 Dec 2003 23:43:28 +0100 Received: from pcroot.cern.ch (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by pcroot.cern.ch (8.12.8/8.12.8) with ESMTP id hB5KqTrH015923 for <roottalk-outgoing@pcroot.cern.ch>; Fri, 5 Dec 2003 21:52:29 +0100 Received: (from majordomo@localhost) by pcroot.cern.ch (8.12.8/8.12.8/Submit) id hB5KqTq0015921 for roottalk-outgoing; Fri, 5 Dec 2003 21:52:29 +0100 I guess it's quite tricky to contact a responsible person at Rostock in the middle of the night. If anybody on the list knows who to contact, please do so. (From the website it is not obvious if there is an on-call person.) Cheers, Remi --------------------------------------------------------------------- Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with your Microsoft product.
