Hi Ruediger,

What you see is the current pad highlight frame.

You can turn off this frame (screen, gif) by
  -if you use 3.10/02 edit the line setting Rint.Canvas.HighLightColor in 
   $ROOTSYS/system.rootrc or your .rootrc file, with;
   Rint.Canvas.HighLightColor:      0

  -if you use an older version, set the highlight color to the 
   pad color (eg 19)
