Dear rootters,
I'm getting the following odd behaviour while using metacharacters to 
load root files in a TChain

root [7] chain->Add("/data2/sidoti/gqcd1g/*root")
(Int_t)0
root [8] chain->Add("/data2/sidoti/gqcd1g/*.root")
(Int_t)1502

It is hard to understand for me such a behaviour.
I'm using 3.05/03 with a 2.4.18-14 linux kernel (Linux RH 7.1)
