Dear Rooters, The ROOT 2004 Users Workshop at SLAC will be held 25,26 and 27 February, 2004. If you are planning to come, and haven't yet registered, please do so at http://www.slac.stanford.edu/BFROOT/www/Computing/Distributed/ROOT2004 It will help our planning. Many abstracts have already been received, but we would like to hear from as many users as possible to ensure a good program. ** If you want the future development of ROOT to meet your needs, this is your best opportunity to have your voice heard. ** Possible subjects for talks/sessions include: - Use of Root as a general framework. - Experience with I/O, comparing different solutions using Trees or other mechanisms. - Use of the Root/CINT dictionary to implement interfaces with foreign systems. - Use of the GUI and graphics classes. - Use in DAQ, Real time systems and client/servers. - Distributed applications on the GRID. - Statistical Analysis tools and classes.
