Hi,

CINT provides by default the binding for most of the commonly usual c and
c++ library
functions (including strcpy).

Cheers,
Philippe.

Subject: [ROOT] CINT behavior

Hi,

I found CINT from the Internet just a few days ago and, till present, I am
doing my C++ Win32 console application development with it. Recently, I
found a bit strange behavior of CINT. Namely, I can use the strcpy()
function without including a corresponding header file (string.h).
Obviously, it is the same for other string functions as well, though I
haven't experimented. Is is that the string functions are somehow built-in
into the CINT interpreter?

Regards,
Anvar.
