Hello Rene, Would it be possible to have a real function to activate/deactivate the stack trace? It would be really nice only to get the stack trace when I am in the verbose/debug mode of my program. So what I would suggest is something like: gSystem->ActivateStackTrace(yes/no); Thanks, Andreas Rene Brun wrote: > in $ROOTSYS/system.rootrc or your local .rootrc > instead of > Root.Stacktrace: yes > do > Root.Stacktrace: no > > > Rene Brun > > Alberto Pulvirenti wrote: > >>Dear all, >> >>is there a way to prevent ROOT from generating the stack trace, when >>errors occur in macro execution? >> >>Thanks, >> >>Alberto > > > > . > -- Andreas Zoglauer MPI fuer extraterrestrische Physik Phone: +49/89-30000-3848 Postfach 1312 Fax: +49/89-30000-3569 85741 Garching, Germany Email: zog@mpe.mpg.de
