I tried to convert a modified version of the rqfiller script (the one available at http://root.cern.ch/root/rqex/*rqfiller*.C <http://root.cern.ch/root/rqex/rqfiller.C> ) in a stand-alone program. I run into the same problem that Nabil run into sometimes ago (http://root.cern.ch/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=432&highlight=rqfiller), essentially I can compile but at run-time I get the the following obnoxious error message: Error in <TQObject::CheckConnectArgs>: slot ExecuteEvent(int,int,int,TObject*) does not exist Valeriy Onuchin suggested him to look at the $ROOTSYS/test/guiviewer.cxx example on the use of signal-slot, but I was not able to figure out how to run rootcint (is this what is required?). Does anyone have a complete example to provide (by complete I mean both source and Makefile :-) )?
