I am using ROOT version 4.00/04 on Fedora Core 2.
At the command line I type:

.L Dialogs.C
Int_t run   = GetIntegerDialog("Give run number:", 0);

Then I get a 
 *** Break *** segmentation violation
 Generating stack trace...

When running the same commands in version 4.00/02 I don't get the error.
