[ROOT]: Naming ticks on axes

Hello!

I tried searching reference guide but didn't find anything useful in 
TGaxis, so I am turning to you for help. Is it possible to name ticks on 
axis, so for instance I could name some value (number on axis) some text 
  (e.g. j_{sat})? I was also unable to find anything on setting axes 
origin. Can one make cross with axes or only variants of L are possible?
