Corresponding with Valeriy Onuchin, I understand that there is a
significant GUI bug in 4.00/08c that affects a relatively common machine
configuration (GNOME + sawfish). Since the bug is fixed in CVS, is
there any chance of back-porting it into a released production version?
I suppose the other option is to use 3.10/02. The reason I ask is that
I am in the process of picking software versions to be used by a working
group for the next several months.
