Hi Peter,

You shoud first check that you file compile when being compiled directly by
the compiler (in ROOT 4.01/03 ACLiC does that automatically in case of
rootcint error).
This might comes from an unbalanced terminator ( ",{,},<,>, etc...)

Cheers,
Philippe.

Subject: [ROOT] What this error mean?

I am trying to "compile" my script via ACLIC and i have got error:
//-----------------------------------------------------------------
root [2] .L eg.c+
Info in <TUnixSystem::ACLiC>: creating shared library
~/etc/w/scripts/e-generator/./eg_c.so
Error: Unexpected EOF G__fgetstream_template():2
FILE:~/etc/w/scripts/e-generator/eg.c LINE:2 Error in <ACLiC>: Dictionary
generation failed!
//-----------------------------------------------------------------

My own suggestions in this case is that I'm using ofstream to export data.
What should I check?

//Peter.
