Dear Rooters, We are pleased to announce the production release of ROOT 4.02/00. The Release Notes, the development notes, the source and binary tar files are available from the ROOT web site http://root.cern.ch CERN is now closing for two weeks. In January we will start a new development version 4.03 (to be released as 4.04 in June). Because most of us will be on holidays, response to mails might be slow.
