Hi,

The following: 
    file://cint/lib/prec_stl/vector 
Is suspicious.  Are you sure that your set is proper (aka ROOTSYS, PATH and
LD_LIBRARY_PATH all points to the same release of ROOT)?  The path should be
the real full path name of the file.

I can not reproduce any problem with gcc 3.4.2.
