Hi,
I have a question concerning the call to a non-autogenerated streamer
when writing a class to a file (as a part of a TTree):
Is it possible that under certain circumstances the Streamer is NOT
called?
The problem is that in one of our classes some action that should be done
in the Streamer is already done somewhere else. Digging in our CVS I found
an old comment from oct. 2001:
"...because ROOT does not always call the streamer"
So, can it still happen with the current ROOT version (>= 4.00_08) that the streamer is not called when writing an object?
Cheers
Gero
