About fitting with TMinuit

Hi ROOTers!

I am studying how to fit data using TMinuit. I have known that TMinuit could be automatically used to fit histograms in ROOT. Now I want to use this class to fit a set of points(x, y, z) other than a histogram.

The functions are
x = f1(v, z)
y = f2(v, z)
in which v is a 3-vector parameter.
And I have the data of (x, y, z). So what do I have to do if I want to get the fit result of parameter v? Or where can I find a similar example to demonstrate usage of TMinuit when fitting a set of points?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
