Annoucing ROOT Debian GNU/Linux 'sid' packages, apt repository

Hi ROOT'ers, and Debian Scientists,

I'm please to announce, that there is now an apt-get repository of ROOT Debian GNU/Linux packages. Simple add the line

        deb http://mirror.phy.bnl.gov/debian-root unstable root

to your `/etc/apt/sources.list'.

The repository is kindly host by Brett Viren of BNL. Many thanks to Brett.

Note: The packages are of ROOT version 5.02/01 (CVS head, as of 2 days ago).

Note: The packages was build on a bleeding edge `sid' (unstable) system, using GCC 4.0.2, X.org, and so on.
