problem of redrawing canvas when connected through ssh

Dear Rooters,
I am running root on fedora 4 core machine and opening output through ssh connections on windows XP machine. the problem is that when i am plotting anything in canvas and for example putting canvas under other windows, then the picture is not redrawn automatically, i should always execute script again.... Do you know how to solve this problem ?
