Perhaps a better way to phrase it is:

NX crashes experienced today with QtRoot: 0 NX crashes experienced today with X11/Root: 3

Just now I found running benchmarks.C with X11/Root killed NX twice in a row, but not the third time. The argument that QtRoot fixes the problem is statistical without a 100% reproducible test case. Certainly, I don't think the ROOT developers should go looking for a solution to this NX issue...

Anyway, I post this mostly to let other NX users know that QtRoot appears to be a workaround for this NX bug.
