Re: installing root from source using visual C++

i tried axel's tutorial and when i get to the "Populate the Project File" and i execute the .sh file i get an error that says there's a bad regular expression, and then the script doesn't seem to work at all, eg no files added to the solution.

"sed: -e expression #1, char 46: Invalid preceding regular expression" i don't see in the file what this is in reference to, unfortunately, as my experience with bash scripts is quite limited.

One thing i will add unrelated to this tutorial specifically, but to the larger problem is that there is another error thati see when i 'make clean' which is that the "[source]/test/Makefile.arch:562 *** invalid architecure. Stop"
