Hi Roger,
Please write me in a few line what kind of parameters do you need for your DoFit method and I will try to prepare a simple example. Just let me know what kind of objects are you going to fit. My guess is that you may call the existed Fit methods in TGraph or TH1/2 classes. If you can provide a small example will be the best, but not obligatory issue. I will be happy to help you.

Thanks for the help but that looks way too complicated for an amateur programmer like me. I'll have to look round for a canned program to do my fitting.
