Your example works for me. I am using the latest ROOT version on Linux.

Dear Roots,

The attached macro loads a TCanvas from a TFile and tries to save it as a .jpg crashes. Saving it as a .ps works without a problem. I tried root 5.06, 5.08, 5.14 on three different computers: two linux and a mac.

I'm attaching the code (DoTests.cc) and the TFile (Out.root)

Any suggestions are welcome.
