Hello,

I am installing ROOT v5-14-00 on OS X 10.4.8. After successfully running ./configure, running make fails due to a mismatch between libtool and ltmain.sh versions. The advice is to run libtoolize -- copy --force, but it doesn't seem to exist on my computer. Here is the abbreviated output of an attempt to make:

...

checking for correct ltmain.sh version... no

Please run:

   libtoolize --copy --force

if appropriate, please contact the maintainer of this package (or your distribution) for help.

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `libpcre.la'. Stop. make: *** [pcre/src/pcre-6.4/.libs/libpcre.a] Error 2 rm utils/src/RStl_tmp.cxx utils/src/rootcint_tmp.cxx

Any clues?
Thanks,
