No there's not. The problem is, that Dapper has some old debhelper and python-support packages. If you like, you can try to build the packages on dapper (change the debhelper and python-support requirements in `debian/control') after getting the sources
apt-get source root-system
If it works for you, I'd like to know, and if it is possible for you to put the packages somewhere public, I'd gladly distribute them from the repository.

Frank Siegert educated me on the release system of Ubuntu. I gather that 'dapper' is the distribution with long term support, while edgy and feisty are newer stable releases.
Please note, that our main concern right now is to get ROOT into Debian experimental, and from there into Debian main, so support for older distributions like Debian woody and Ubuntu dapper is less of a priority.
