how to overdisplay historgrams

Dear Rooters,

I think What I'm asking should be a common feature for formal publication of experimental results.

I'm making figures for publication. I'd like to overdisplay (not superimpose) several historgrams in one figure, i.e., each histogram is displayed in its own frame, but the frames are on the top of each other, while they have the same X-axis scale and share the same set of x-axis lable at the bottom of plot.
Figure 9-11 in the User Guide is such an example, but for TGraphs. But I can't find any instructions on how to achieve this effect.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

many thanks.

Cheers

Zhong
