roottest suite fails

Hello,

I just compiled the current ROOT version and run the roottest suite on it which failed. Last lines of the test output is shown below.

Running test in ./root/io/bigevent
./Event: error while loading shared libraries: libEvent.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory make[3]: *** [bigeventTest] Error 127

Test in ./root/io/bigevent ........................................ FAIL

make[2]: *** [bigevent.test] Error 1

Test in ./root/io ................................................. FAIL

make[1]: *** [io.test] Error 1

Test in ./root .................................................... FAIL

make: *** [root.test] Error 1

There is a libEvent.so in ./root/io/bigevent but also putting a link to this into $ROOTSYS/lib does not help. So where do I get/put libEvent.so?

To get roottest running at all I also had to disable my .rootrc in my home directory. Can this be avoided?
