check status of a TFile that recovered

Dear all,

sorry if this is a trivial question, but I wonder how I can check that the "Warning" about an automatic attempt occured?

Warning in <TFile::Init>: file dijet_pt100to150_d20070705_r000020.root probably not closed, trying to recover Info in <TFile::Recover>: dijet_pt100to150_d20070705_r000020.root, recovered key TTree:MetaData at address 5656

Or can I turn this into a more fatal error? (Except from modifying the source of course)
