The server broke down due to a power-cut at BNL. Brett is working on getting it back. In the meantime, you can use the "experimental" distribution from Debian. Add
deb http://www.de.debian.org/debian ../project/experimental main contrib non-free
to your APT sources. Beware, that this may not work on Ubuntu.
Note, that packages of the ROOT production version 5.16/00 will be available as soon as the repository is back up.
