TDirectory in 5.14.00g - missing functions

According to
http://root.cern.ch/viewcvs/tags/v5-14-00g/base/inc/TDirectory.h?revision=19279&view=markup it seems that TDirectory does not have the static member functions TDirectory::AddDirectory(Bool_t) and TDirectory::AddDirectoryStatus() in 5.14.00g release. Is this true? If that is indeed the case, is there any possibility of using the same functionality ("setting the sticky bit for histograms and trees") without those functions? I advance the fact that migrating to a newer release is not an option in my case, unfortunately.
