It could be that the SavePrimitives methods are not implemented properly for these primitives. I will check your example and let you know.

When I define color on objects like for example arrows and text with SetLineColor and SetTextColor and plot the objects to a canvas and then save the canvas to a .C file this color is not saved in the .C file but if I save the canvas to a .jpg file the color works. I have attached a small test program that shows this. This test program produces two output files; test.C and test.jpg. Executing test.C (root[1] .x test.C) shows all objects black but in the .jpg file the arrow and the text are red.
It would help me a lot if somebody showed me how to edit this test program so that the .C file also remember what color I want on the arrow and the text.

I use version 5.19/04.
