You should use a 64 bits version of ROOT, eg with version 5.22 /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/app/releases/ROOT/5.22.00a/slc4_amd64_gcc34/root instead of
/afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/app/releases/ROOT/5.22.00a/slc4_ia32_gcc34/root

Concerning your problem with fVector, we need more info. Could you simply try

    fVector[i]->ls();
