As we have not heard any other complaints it's most probably the fault of the email server of your uni. I know from experience that some UK uni servers have excessively strict "spam" rules. Maybe they still have logs so they can trace it.

Copy & paste into a new email, maybe even keeping the subject with "Re:" in front will be just fine.
