  The message is a bit misleading, that isn't the name of the library/libraries you need. (The printout is "euphemistically indicative" of what you need... ;-) I believe you need to install the following rpm (64bit) for SL4:

xorg-x11-devel-6.8.2-1.EL.63

  [BTW, someone should probably fix the mail configuration on root.cern.ch so that mails go out with that address rather than "roottalk_at_lxbuild091.cern.ch".]
