customizing MC generation in RooFit

Hi ROOTers,

I'm using ROOT version 5.26

I'm trying to make the migration to RooFit, and I'm finding the means of toy MC generation to be too slow. I figure there has to be some way to customize the generator in a pre-compiled custom PDF, but I don't quite see where that happens. I've played around with overloading the "generate" method (since it's virtual void) but I've not had any luck.
