Average of two graphs

(I'm proud to, for the first time, query the mailing list with a
non-technical issue that I have :->)

Is there a ready-to-use function to get the "Average of two graphs" I think of that as the following:

The average graph c of two graphes a and b is given by a parametrisation
(c1,c2)(t) 0 < t < 1 where (c1,c2)=( (a1,a2)(t) + (b1,b2)(t) )/2 and
a(t), b(t) the parametrisations of a and b respectively.
