How to convert ascii.reformat to root format

Hi all,
I am doing CDF analysis and
i want to convert output data file of LPAIR MC generator(which always comes in ascii.reformat) into root format. Then i would be able to pass myfile.root from CDF Sim.
Can any one help me in this ???
