Hi Dmitry,

Can you check in $ROOTSYS/etc/system.rootrc (or in your $HOME/.rootrc if you have one) this line:

### History

# Record session commands, set to "-" to turn off command recording.

Rint.History: $(HOME)/.root_hist

This is the option to enable/disable history, and the history of ROOT commands is kept into the $HOME/.root_hist file by default.

Or maybe there is a problem with this file. Could you try to locate it and see what it contains, or just delete it?

Cheers, Bertrand.

Subject: [ROOT] Win32 glitch

Hello guys,

I'm using ROOT under Win32. When I open ROOT window, I want to use my previous macroses.
I used to press "up" button and choose which macros to run from my previous ".x blabla.C"
But somehow this "up" thing doesn't work anymore. It seems some kind of buffer is disabled.
Can someone tell me where should I put a tick to make it work again. Typing macro name everytime i run ROOT is a bit frustrating.

Thanks in advance,
