unable to use GUI

Hi all,

I just upgraded to root v5.28d and I can no longer open windows: e.g. opening a TBrowser or a TCanvas leads to a crash as at the end of the mail.

Does anyone have the same problem?
I'm using Mac OS 10.6.7.
