Hi Yngve,
What do you mean by "new feature"? I don't think this has changed recently (or even since years...) And there is no option in ROOT to change this behavior anyway.
Cheers, Bertrand.

Subject: [ROOT] right mouse click on trackpads
Dear ROOTers,
I have an issue with the TBrowser I am unable to figure out. When I want to right click on a tree or similar to start a viewer, the menu automatically disappears just after I clicked. This is a new "feature" in recent versions if I remember correctly.
I suppose this is not a problem if you have a mouse, since you can just keep the right button clicked while dragging. I however, have a macbook where I do not have a physical button but use two fingers for right click. I am not able to move the cursor while two fingers are pressed.
Is there a way to turn off this "automatic behaviour"? Or is this a bug with my installation perhaps?
Cheers,
Yngve
