Histogram means over different parts

Hi,

Is there a method (or a robust way) that I can (e.g, for 1D histograms) get mean values for parts of the histograms (e.g., from bin 1 to 20, bin 30 to bin 60 etc..) instead of one mean for the whole histogram?
