hi there (and happy end of the world)
if I am not mistaken, the license of genreflex.py (and all of what is under http://root.cern.ch/lxr/source/cint/reflex/python/genreflex/) is LGPL b/c (IIRC - historically) of gcc-xml.
but genreflex.py and friends only parse the output of the gcc-xml program (the gory xml file describing a .so) so if I understand correctly, one could re-license genreflex.py under something else.
if everybody agrees, could that part of the code be re-licensed under
BSD-like terms ?
(I'd like to re-use that code and make it pluggable to be able to
generate bindings for C,C++,Go,... and eventually distribute it under a
BSD-like license, obviously)
-s
PS: I think the original authors for this piece of code were Pere Mato and Stefan Roiser, right ?
