Is there a ROOT manual in the conventional sense?

There is, obviously, an enormous amount of documentation already
for a product still in development. I was wondering if it
can be printed out. I can see the present hypertext form being very
valuable as a reference, but I find it very difficult when trying to get
off the ground with ROOT.
