Q:TMinuit: A simple (and enlighting) example ?

Hi there,

Although there is supposed to be a howto on Fitting with TMinuit, I 'd
like to ask where I can find a really simple example (not minexam.C)
which uses TMinuit, and which has more helpful comments. Maybe there is
some of the Howto already done. Is there any possibility to access it ?
I would like to fit some z=f(x,y) function where the x and y values are
not equally spaced. So I tried using the minexam-example using a
function that returns chisquare, but the result of the program is that
just nothing is done. Something is lacking or there is a gross error in
my code (most likely).

thanks for any help,

	Mats

P.S: something aside ROOT. I tried to do the fitting using Maple, but
Maple V, Rel 3 doesn't support non-linear fitting (rational functions).
Any suggestions ?
