Trying to link a quite simple program with root libs on a LINUX machine (LINUX version 2.0.28 and gcc (version 2.7.2) as linker), went fine without any major problem. But trying to run this program ended with a segmentation violation. Since this segmentation violation happened before the first line of main is executed, I assume that this has to happen during process startup. Since there are no problems in running this process when root is not applied and none of the root libs is linked, something's going wrong with this gcc version and the root libs. Is there anybody who can help me?
